As an Axia College student, you log on and learn—anytime, anywhere. Coursework is completed through electronic forums. Download course materials, questions and assignments, then study them at your convenience. Log in and participate in class at least three days a week, but you choose the days and times.
Specifically, you go to class through our Online Learning System (OLS). OLS lets you connect with instructors and classmates who share a variety of experiences. You interact at all hours through online forums, including:
- Main forum—Like your classroom, this is where you discuss, debate and actively participate in course subjects.
- Chat Room—Like a hallway, this is where you talk with classmates about any topic.
- Course Materials—This is where you download the course syllabus, presentations and other resources.
- Individual—Like your instructor's desk where you drop off completed assignments, this is your personal access to your instructor's inbox.
Classes are limited to just 20 students. You learn in a highly interactive environment and receive one-on-one guidance and feedback from your instructor. You take two courses at a time, with each course lasting nine weeks. While you're reading and discussing in one course, you’re focused on a work project in the other. It’s balanced learning that can help you balance your life.
