Military Educational Needs Assessment
The University of Phoenix Military Educational Needs Assessment was developed
with Education Services Officers' needs in mind. An educational needs
assessment will provide Education Services Officers with information regarding
the educational interest of service members and their awareness of their
educational benefits.
The University of Phoenix Institutional Research and Effectiveness Department
provides a survey instrument and format for Education Services Officers to
compile and evaluate the educational needs of service members on base. The
University will provide Education Services Officers with the survey instrument,
conduct the data analysis requested by the Education Services Officer, and
provide an Executive Summary of Findings.
Student Advisement Handbook for Education Services Officers
The Student Advisement Handbook for Education Services Officers (ESOs) has been
created as an advisement tool to assist you when counseling Service members on
the Associate of Arts Degree Through Credit Recognition Program.

Recognizing the value of military-based education
and training, University
of Phoenix has created the Marine Corps enlisted MOS Guide to help Marine Corps
personnel receive college credit for their knowledge and training.
This Guide was designed to be a convenient, helpful tool for Education Services
Officers to use when counseling and advising Marine Corps personnel on their
educational choices.
